Sudesha School follows the national curriculum designed and implemented by the government of Nepal at this level, using a theme-based teaching approach along with activities and experiments. Each class has two instructors, resulting in a small teacher-student ratio. Textbooks are provided up to class 3, and the teaching-learning process includes theme-based activities via worksheets.
However, in class 4 and 5, textbooks are used with designed activities and experimental approaches to enhance learning. There are no terminal examinations, and instead, evaluation takes place through the Continuous Evaluation System (CAS).
The curriculum and activities at this level are integrated with social service-related activities, with the aim of connecting children to society and promoting humanitarian values. Sudesha School emphasizes a holistic approach to education, focusing not only on academic development but also on social and emotional development.
